16 years ago, I came to this country. I was going to be an ASIC Engineer. If I had failed to act in the first week of my arrival in the US – today I would be working for a chip manufacturer and would have been extremely miserable.

I realized this after I finished a somewhat important presentation today. I was so thankful for the opportunity, the preparation and the investment made in this project by my leaders. I wondered what types of people and projects I would have been working on if I had followed the track that got me to the US.

Thoughts strike us at the oddest moments. I feel like as long as I keep receiving them, I am living.
