The most social evening in a while and that too by accident. I went for a walk today at 5 and ran into an ex colleague who lives close to downtown. We both have switched teams recently, and had a lot to catch up on. It was fun to run into her randomly. Then I was scheduled to speak to another ex colleague from Deloitte about a project at work. We caught up after a long time and exchanged our covid stories. As I wrapped up and was walking back home, I heard someone yell my name. I was shocked. A bunch of folks from my ex-ex-ex team at google were enjoying a picnic in the park outside my house. Since Agam and Tara were playing soccer there, I hung out with the colleagues and then played soccer with Tara. Crazy social evening 🙂

Came back home super charged up and made some delicious pasta sauce from scratch – with olives, tomatoes. carrots, celery, garlic, onions and a bunch of herbs. Put the gf pasta to boil and made some asparagus and chicken on the side to go with the pasta. Finger licking yummy was.

Tara jumped around me as I put the meal together and then we enjoyed it with a chilled glass of Cupcake wine.

A packed day of meetings, a social evening and a wholesome meal with the family. Can’t ask for more. Grateful and thankful.
