3 Medium bananas – ripe
1 Egg
1/4 tsp salt
2-cup all-purpose flour
1-cup sugar
1/2-cup oil
1 tsp vanilla extract
2 tbsp buttermilk
1 tsp baking soda
1 cup chopped walnuts
Mix the flour, salt and baking soda together. What I do for most cakes is sieve the material together so they are uniformly distributed. Keep this aside.

Now once the ingredients are all mixed together, add to this – vanilla extract, butter milk and mashed bananas. Mix it well; it takes a little while to mix this all together.
Now add 1/2 cup of chopped walnuts to this mix. Fold them in.
Sprinkle flour in your loaf-baking tray and add this mixture to it. Add the remaining walnuts on the top. Don’t mix them. Let them sit atop the mixture.
Pre heat oven at 325F and keep the baking tray inside. Set the time to 60 minutes. Take out the loaf from the baking tray and place it on a wire rack for 10 minutes. Let it cool down. Cut slices of the loaf and let them cool down on the wire rack.
Voila..Serve warm with a cup of latte..
Happy Birthday Agam ! Here is your bday bread.. just a few days late .. Love
